River Ranch Senior PLUS Kibble Dog Food's has
been formulated with a wholesome and rich source of
Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate that helps maintain
healthy joint cartilage in older, mature dogs.
This
is a functional food, rather than the traditional
oral pill form, that may serve to inhibit cartilage
degradation by helping to stimulate the body's ability
to produce more GAG'S (glycosaminoglycans). The cartilage
make up of the Senior PLUS formula may help with the
hydration of joints because of the polyanionic characteristics,
thus the lubrication needed in joints for proper function.
It is not a substitute for professional treatment,
but a supportive means to assist with canine discomfort.
Other
ingredients and the size of the kibble are the same
as the Senior Kibble dog food.
This
item is shipped in bags of 20 pounds or less for customer
convenience. If you order 40 pounds, for instance,
you will receive a shipment of two 20-pound bags.
So don't worry about lugging around a 40-pound bag

Feeding Guide

Because the Flint River Ranch Senior
Plus Kibble is high density, you feed 20%-25%
less than other foods. Each serving delivers
maximum nutrition without fillers, so you'll
also notice a lower stool volume and less clean-up.
It
is better to introduce Flint River Ranch
Super Premium foods by mixing with your dogs
usual food and increasing the amount of Flint
River Ranch over several days. It will take
time for your dog to adjust to the rich, easy
to digest, Super Premium quality. A sudden change
in any food source may be a shock to your dogs
digestive system. You may notice loose stool.
If so, reduce the amount being fed until your
dog adjusts.
Feed
your dog once or twice a day. Food requirements
vary depending on climate, breed of dog and
exercise activity. Feed an amount that will
maintain your dog's weight.
20-30 lbs 1.0 to 1.5 Cups
